Who am I?

My name is Tahsim Ahmed, a December 31st born-and-raised Torontonian. I’m fascinated by the intersection of the world, consumers and technology.

On paper, I'm your favorite journeyman across the tech world with a wide array of experiences and interests.

Some professional highlights:

• Created the world's first Voice experience (Amazon Alexa) w. int'l platinum-selling dance music artist & DJ/Producer: Sam Feldt

• Created, grew & managed the largest communities on the viral social-media & audio app: Clubhouse for Dance Music (9k+ members) and Retail (3.5k+ members) during the COVID-19 pandemic

• Launched-to-market & PM’ed multiple consumer-facing and enterprise-grade POCs/products including: Augmented-Reality (AR), digital customer/operator tools to 70+ locations, virtual-optometry, thermal detection and various other tech. across stores, distribution centers & plants

• Built a voice-tech company from the ground-up, incubated in TribalScale's Venture Studios and various other venture deals & incubation

• Represented Canada & the continent, at the 2018 KIC Global Finals in Amsterdam

But for now, I like to think of myself in an embodiment of three traits:

Resilient. A quality that I have, which many of the world's finest possess is my drive and my ability to never give up. You've heard this probably a thousand times, but failure is truly a gift. The number of failures I have had is what has shaped me in who I am, and who I will become. 

Passionate. The simple reality in who I am, I’m fascinated and in-love with many things and am on a life-mission of instilling a vision, being innovative and improving the lives of the people around me. 

Bold. (no pun intended)  I am someone that has always attempted in leaving a mark wherever I tread. Whether that means seeking the next innovation, excelling in local or global competitions, growing a newly formed startup, or leading game-changing strategies for industry-leading companies; I aim for excellence in what I do, and stop at nothing to achieve it.
